Being an ex-Guardian reader I'm quite a fan of the Guardian podcasts (as I can't get the paper anymore).in particular tech weekly and the media guardian They've obviously invested some energy into producing them as the production quality and the content is nicely thought through and presented. It's a good example of how the professionals are winning (or at least starting to claw back) back the web from the amateur masses of bloggers and podcasters that were supposed to bring down the old media dinosaurs. What's actually happening is that many of the decent people producing content are turning their blogs/podcasts into a business and that journalists are producing an increasing amount of their own online content as a regular part of their job. It would be interesting to see if all journalism students are being taught radio and TV skills as part of the mainstream of their course as its a no brainer that they'll need these in the future.
